About this site

Hey. My name is Hugh. I wanted to take a second to introduce myself and the idea behind this website.

Growing up, the internet was this unique place to share ideas, content, and feelings. I grew up vaguely aware of trends and certainly had social media accounts, but what was more important to me was my friends. We rode bikes. Surfed. Skateboarded. Sat in our cars. I just wanted to contribute to a change I would like to see in social media, which is to slow down. I guess I am tired of the consumption. The carelessness. The stuff I care to share about really inspires me, and I think it makes me who I am. I just wanted an opportunity to share some of that with others.
